Up of Patty Noble--aka Pate'
Pate' has an unusual assortment of friends
she coaxes into the studio with CD’s in tow. Pate’s
life is a precarious “balance” between washing
high windows teetering on a ladder, instructing skiing part-time,
performing as a checkbook contortionist, and raising a family
of six kids. When she runs out of friends, she goes far away
on vacation with her music…a regrettable result of raising
six kids with a male chauvinist husband who thinks women should
still be washing their laundry with stones in the river.
Raising her five boys and one girl in
this day and age has honed her sense of humor to a rapier-like
wit in order to survive. Her hobbies include hitting a ball
“HARD” against the backdrop to music (what she
calls: ”Zen tennis”), skiing, and writing. “Escape”
is the key word here, and sometimes that means changing decades.
Wherever she takes you, it’s sure to make you smile.
Pate’ says: “Doing these shows is cheaper than
paying a psychiatrist…and far more fun!”
The Pate' Show: Pate' has a vast collection
of varied albums “pinched” from her older sisters
and brother. She loves to do satires and biographies when
she has the time for research. At times her one hour becomes
a platform to vent with biting humor, using music from different
decades and places from all over the world. Pate’ uses
a large collection of varied albums to air with at least a
few songs that make you think “Where did she find that
one?!” Her shows follow a theme dedicated to the strange
large array of friends she has collected through the years.

a while...but she didn't even miss a season, and hopes
for powder this year. |
